Exclude IPs from Analytics
Search queries from the specified IP addresses are not recorded in analytics.
Where to configure it?
Search Settings → Installation → section "IP addresses excluded from analytics"
Why is this needed?
So that test or internal queries don't end up in analytics and skew your statistics.
Typical cases:
- Your own test searches while configuring the widget
- Queries from sales managers who regularly use the search on the site
How to add an IP address?
- Go to: Search Settings → Installation
- Find the section "IP addresses excluded from analytics"
- Enter the IP address
- Click "Save"
Important
This feature only works with static IP addresses. If the address is dynamic and changes — the exclusion won't work reliably.
How to find your IP address?
Go to any IP lookup service, for example whatismyip.com
Want to track your own team's queries separately?
